Saratoga Chips Donates to International Medical Corps in Response to Nepal Earthquake Tragedy

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y., Apr. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — America’s first kettle chip ™, Saratoga Chips, has announced a $2,500 donation to the International Medical Corps in response to the urgent need in Nepal after an earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 7.8 struck on April 25th.

Saratoga Chips is a supporter of the marketplace in the Himalayan Mountains through their commitment to pure ingredients, such as the Pink Himalayan Salt used across the company’s line of products.

According to International Medical Corps website (https://internationalmedicalcorps.org/nepal-earthquake), “30 out of the 75 districts in Nepalhave been affected by the quake. Our emergency response team has been on the ground since April 25 when the quake struck, assessing the damage, delivering critically needed medicines and supplies and mobilizing to provide emergency care to survivors.”

Additionally, Facebook has set up a donation effort with International Medical Cops, (https://www.facebook.com/nepalearthquakesupport) and Saratoga Chips will also support the effort on social media in conjunction with both corporations.
